Paolo Desideri will be one of the keynote speakers of the annual edition of Structural Engineers World Congress (SEWC 2017), which will take place in Bangalore from 13th to 15th July.
Through a presentation of ABDR recent projects, Paolo Desideri will highlight the following themes:
- architectural reinforced concrete surfaces finishing, using industrial metallic formworks in the project of the Annibaliano station of the B1 subway line in Rome.
- continuous reinforced concrete structures. The use of continuous reinforced concrete walls, due to structural needs, became one of the main architectural features of the whole Auditorium and Opera House complex in Florence.
- reinforced concrete inside long-length steel pillars for the resolution of fire engineering performances in the project of the new high-speed rail station “Roma Tiburtina”.
