The pedestrian and bicycle bridge is an important infrastructure in the Tor di Valle neighborhood, since it joins the new stadium and the Magliana train station with the surrounding infrastructures.
The bridge joins both existing and new pedestrian and bicycle systems by completing the network with new paths from the Magliana side.
The project develops for a length of about 380 meters and a constant cross section width of 4 meters, and in addition to this the two ground connections. From the side of the stadium, a ramp joins the bridge and the new pedestrian and bicycle paths, directly connecting to the stadium and the Business Park. On this side, the ground level is at 9,00 meters above mean sea level and the deck is at +22.30 amsl. The vertical linking systems connect both levels while respecting the accessibility criteria for people with disabilities, also with an elevator. On the opposite side, towards the Magliana station, the vertical linking system is composed by stairs and an elevator connecting the bridge level with the access level (+14.90 amsl) to the Magliana station (not included in the renewal intervention) and to the road level at +12.50 amsl.
The top level of the bridge deck remains constant at +22.30 amsl in order to overpass the interferences on the crossed areas.
