The building and its surrounding area are completely enclosed by high fences along the perimeter to ensure security needs as they were provided by the previous design of the structure during the Seventies.

The project aims to mitigate the severe industrial aspect of the building while making it more friendly and accessible, in respect of the smart working principles.

Actions taken for this purpose are:

-  an improvement of the building accessibility and urban perception, in the redevelopment of access and fences. Two lines of fences have been removed while maintain just the exterior fence. The existing platform roofs have been cleaned through  paint removing and repainting.

- a redesign of the surfaces allows a redevelopment of the whole image of the building. Surfaces will be repainted, as well as all the metallic elements of the platform roofs and the exterior fire escape stairs, which cover the building roof. Paint colors will be chosen among those included in the TIM corporate identity guidelines. The TIM logo will be placed at the corner of the building thus to be visible by the street such as an urban signal.
